The Educational Technology Specialist will facilitate adaptive reading workshops, create individualized motivational experiences, and partner with the engineering team to develop AI-powered literacy solutions, ultimately transforming the reading experience for students across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Facilitating adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension

Creating individualized motivational experiences that engage children and foster a lasting passion for reading

Reviewing student performance metrics to iteratively improve your methods and identify practical insights

Partnering with the engineering team to assess and refine AI-powered literacy solutions

Qualification

Reading instruction certificationReading interventionsAI/adaptive learning toolsAssessing reading levelsDifferentiated instruction designStudent engagement strategies

Required

Bachelor's degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)

At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students

Skilled at assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre-written curricula

Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Chantilly (Washington), VA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY
