You will gain hands-on experience working with a diverse patient population experiencing acute mental health crises, substance use disorders, and complex behavioral challenges. Under the direct supervision of a licensed professional (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT), you will transition from observation to leading clinical interventions
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited Master's degree program in Social Work (MSW), Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
Completion of core clinical coursework and approval from the university's internship coordinator
Timely renewal of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (Basic Life Support) for healthcare professional's certification
Annual professional skills verification
HWC (Handle with Care) behavioral management certification
