Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and other decision-makers
Manage referral network by establishing relationships with healthcare providers, physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other referral sources to generate growth opportunities
Deliver compelling educational presentations that highlight the value and benefits of our hospice services, demonstrating how we can meet the unique needs of patients and their families
Work closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless transitions for patients and provide ongoing support to referral sources
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of growth activities, including referral interactions, development calls, and progress reports
Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics, contributing to the overall success of the sales team
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in healthcare sales, with a focus on hospice or related services
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals
Ability to travel within the designated territory
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Services or a related field
Knowledge of hospice regulations and healthcare industry trends is a plus
