Responsibilities
Pick up and deliver parts, tools, and materials between vendors, shop, yard, and job sites
Respond quickly to urgent field requests to minimize downtime
Coordinate with mechanics, superintendents, and foremen on delivery needs
Verify correct parts and quantities before leaving vendors or job sites
Clean, inspect, and prepare small tools for reissue
Assist with staging tools for upcoming jobs
Return tools from jobs and ensure they are properly cleaned and stored
Report damaged, missing, or non-functional tools
Assist mechanics with basic tasks, tool setup, and cleanup
Help keep the shop, tool cage, and work areas clean and organized
Unload and move tools, materials, and small equipment as needed
Support morning crew mobilization and end-of-day demobilization
Assist with unloading and loading deliveries
Help organize yard areas related to tools and small equipment
Provide general operational support as directed
Qualification
Required
Reliable, punctual, and responsive
Comfortable driving to suppliers and job sites
Basic knowledge of construction tools or willingness to learn
Able to follow instructions and prioritize urgent requests
Physically able to lift, carry, and move tools and materials
Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Required to comply with all company vehicle use and driving policies
