Start in 2026 SummerPlug Power Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated Intern. The Intern will be responsible for assisting the Stack Engineering design team in the development and maintenance of 3D CAD models and associated drawings, working closely with various stakeholders to learn about the fuel cell stack product lines.

Responsibilities
Support 3D CAD design / modeling needs for existing and new fuel cell stack related components along with managing the definition and accuracy of various stack product configurations
Work with Stack Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers to ensure proper models, drawing, and BOMs
Capture and coordinate various change control documentation and associated activities for each stack product
Develop an effective means to communicate the latest stack design configurations, associated subcomponent variations, and current design changes
Represent Plug Power in a professional manner at all times and in all interactions
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or a related program
Must have reliable transportation to the office
Background/experience with 3D CAD software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively
Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
Excellent follow-through
Must be driven and self-motivated
Must possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality
Preferred
Prior Internship or Co-op experience preferred
Creo and Windchill experience is desirable
