OMS Product Manager

Responsibilities
Oversee the development, enhancement, and day-to-day management of the Outage Management System to ensure optimal performance and functionality
Work with Digital Team and operations teams to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and ensure 24x7 system availability
Continuously evaluate OMS performance and identify opportunities for process improvements or automation to streamline outage management
Lead the integration of OMS with other systems (e.g., SCADA, GIS, CIS, Web, GCP, etc.) for seamless information flow
Develop and manage the product roadmap for the OMS, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business needs, customer impact, and technical feasibility
Define product requirements and specifications in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring that the OMS meets operational goals and regulatory compliance standards
Project Manage system upgrades, patching, and new feature rollouts
Act as the primary point of contact for all OMS-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, including field operations, customer service, engineering, and regulatory bodies
Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective decision-making
Engage with customers and utility partners to gather feedback on OMS performance and address any concerns or enhancement requests
Ensure the OMS effectively supports system outage detection, restoration, and communication during system disruptions, with a focus on minimizing downtime and improving response times
Monitor system health during critical storm events and provide real-time updates to leadership and customers
Oversee the preparation of reports and dashboards that track outage performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement
Coordinate with Operational Trainers to develop and maintain user training materials for the OMS, ensuring that all relevant teams (field operations, call center, dispatch, etc.) are well-equipped to use the system effectively
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting guidance to internal users and stakeholders
Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of Technical professionals and engineers
Provide guidance, coaching, and career development support to team members
Conduct performance reviews, set clear goals, and monitor progress
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the IT and engineering teams
Qualification
