Responsibilities

Publish twice per month: deep technical posts, original research, and POCs that help developers fix real problems
Track AppSec, threat intelligence, and AI trends, and turn them into posts, team briefs, and conference talks
Use our product on real targets to surface gaps, and suggest or implement fixes
Optionally build and maintain small OSS tools that support your research
Speak at conferences and meetups. We fully fund travel, including international

Qualification

Required

3+ years of experience in security research or engineering, with a focus on application security and public impact
Demonstrated bug bounty or offensive security experience with public write-ups, CVEs, or talks
Prior experience at a venture-backed startup
Experience building and maintaining small OSS tools
Software development skills for tool development, PoCs, or features
Application security exposure across modern stacks
Experience with Python, Go, TypeScript, C
Expertise in reverse engineering and binary exploitation
Ability to ship clear, technically accurate writing on a steady cadence
Willingness to travel for quarterly on-sites in the SF Bay Area
Candidates from specialized military/government units like IDF Unit 8200 are interesting
