Responsibilities

Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of hardware-in-the-loop test environments used for integrating and verifying fly-by-wire flight control systems and components
Perform data post-processing and analysis to support cross-functional failure investigations and problem resolutions
Assist with the integration and testing of avionics and actuation subsystems to verify compliance with safety and performance requirements
Design test cases and methodologies to thoroughly exercise system functionality and test system response to injected failures
Provide support during DO-160 standard environmental and EMI qualification test campaigns, including the design, development, and maintenance of test support equipment to representatively operate the unit-under-test
Work in a collaborative manner with other engineering disciplines such as Systems, Software, Hardware, Flight Test

Required

Bachelor of Science in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software or related engineering field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience testing or integrating avionics or electromechanical systems
Hands-on experience with lab test setups and systems integration environments
Proficiency in data analysis and failure identification

Preferred

Familiarity with designing and building test setups
Proficiency in Simulink and Python
Proficiency in requirements management and verification processes
Understanding of system integration principles, particularly in aerospace or other safety-critical industries
Exposure to certification processes for flight-critical systems
Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional team environments
