Responsibilities
Build and manage a high-performing design engineering team (2–8 direct reports)
Oversee EBOS design for PV harnesses, DC feeders, MV cables, and related components
Review and approve designs for accuracy, compliance, and manufacturability
Collaborate with Sales, Project Engineering, and Production teams to deliver optimized solutions
Drive value engineering initiatives and continuous improvement processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years in PV, electrical design, or EBOS engineering
2+ years in engineering leadership or supervisory roles
Strong knowledge of NEC and PV system design principles
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Ability to interpret plan sets, single-line diagrams, and technical schematics
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Familiarity with PVsyst
Experience with manufacturing/production teams
Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and NETA standards
Utility-scale solar project experience
Mandarin fluency (a plus, not required)
