Finance Manager, Contract Administration
Douglas Emmett, Inc. is one of the largest owners and operators of Class-A office buildings and luxury apartment communities located in the premier coastal submarkets of Los Angeles and Honolulu. They are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to play a key role in the annual budget process and contract administration, ensuring compliance with financial terms in contracts and working closely with key business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Prepare the annual budgets
Analyze contract terms and monitor vendors’ billings to ensure compliance with financial terms in contracts
Conduct financial reviews and perform variance analysis to ensure alignment with contracts and budgets
Develop contract tracking process and maintain records of all contracts and associated financial documentation
Assist in all other Finance responsibilities and special projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; CPA desirable
7+ years' experience in finance or accounting. Real estate and contract administration experience a plus
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills required
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with MRI is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
