Responsibilities

Collaborate with lawyers to manage and organize case cases from inception to conclusion
Maintain and update case files, including pleadings, case briefs, and exhibits
Prepare and manage case timelines, calendars, and deadlines to ensure compliance
Coordinate with external parties, such as clients, vendors and opposing counsel, as necessary
Assist attorneys in preparing submissions in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings to relevant agencies (in particular the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission) in accordance with agency rules and practice, under supervision of lawyers
Observe rules regarding treatment of proprietary information in agency submissions
Conduct legal research using various online and offline resources (including Westlaw, LEXIS, and PACER) to gather relevant information
Summarize and present research findings to lawyers in a clear and concise manner
Stay current on relevant agency regulations and practices
Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and affidavits
Bluebook and Cite check briefs and prepare table of authorities
Organize and maintain electronic document databases, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval of documents
Train, manage and supervise junior members of the project team providing support on international trade matters
Enter time spent on tasks on a daily basis into the firm's time entry system
Provide back-up coverage for other paralegals as needed
Assist with pro bono and business development projects
Complete other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree required
At least 2 years of experience required in an international trade remedy (or similar) practice
