Innovation Driven is seeking a Trust and Estates Paralegal to join the team at an outstanding law firm in Bellevue, Washington. The role involves managing all aspects of probate and trust administration, drafting various legal documents, and ensuring compliance with estate tax regulations.

Responsibilities

Draft correspondence regarding estate administration, including communications with clients, to accountants and taxing authorities, as well as third-party requests for information

Prepare bequest and trust funding calculation, and plans of distribution

Draft Deeds, Promissory Notes and LLC Agreements

Obtain federal estate and trust tax identification numbers

Draft estate planning documents including Wills, DPOA’s, Trusts, QPRTs and Health Care Directives

Draft explanatory correspondence to clients detailing the proposed estate planning documents

Manage all aspects of probate and trust administration from inception through conclusion

Draft probate pleadings, inventories of assets, and asset transfer documents

Prepare federal and Washington estate tax returns (ideally experience with GEMs)

Obtain federal estate and trust tax identification numbers

Calendar probate and estate tax return deadlines
