Responsibilities
Own end-to-end software delivery and operational quality for two product-focused engineering teams (from planning to customer adoption and scale)
Make intentional tradeoffs that balance delivery pace, implementation quality, and long-term maintainability
Provide technical leadership by guiding decisions using your prior experience as a Software Engineer
Coach and our software engineers and tech leads
Work closely with customers in partnership with Product to understand use cases, constraints, and feedback
Qualification
Required
Experience as an Engineering Manager responsible for delivering customer-facing software
A background as a Software Engineer, with experience building and shipping production systems
Strong delivery instincts: ability to scope work, sequence projects, and manage tradeoffs
Proven ability to coach engineers and improve team execution over time
Comfort working closely with Product, Design, and customers
A bias toward ownership, clarity, and iteration over rigid process
A kind person who gives clear, direct feedback
