Responsibilities

Implement and manage all security programs in accordance with NISPOM requirements, all applicable DoD Manuals, Executive Orders, DD254s, and security classification guides

Ensure the physical security of Apex’s facilities and personnel

Manage the company's facility clearance and all personnel security clearances, including DISS submissions

Provide all required training to the company's cleared employees and OPSEC and CI training to all employees

Support the design and construction of all secure areas in Apex facilities

Lead and conduct self-inspections and support all required government security inspections and audits

Create and update all company security policies and procedures

Manage all day-to-day requirements for security operations including visitor control (U.S. and foreign visits and classified visits), international travel, and provide all relevant briefings to cleared and uncleared personnel

Maintain all required Technology Control Plans

Collaborate with all related functions including Legal, Export Compliance, Facilities, etc

Required

5+ years of related experience

FSO Certification

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Well-versed in ICD 705, TEMPEST, and DoD Directive 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP)

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to handle high-pressure situations

Preferred

8+ years of related experience

Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry

Prior COMSEC custodian experience

Experience in a management role within security

Experience with DTSA TTCP requirements
