The US Oncology Network is the largest community oncology provider in the country, and they are seeking a Clinical Research Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role involves providing care for patients receiving cutting-edge treatments within the oncology clinic and managing the cancer patient throughout their journey.

Responsibilities

Work closely with physicians to identify and screen potential patients for clinical trial participation
Present trial concepts and details to oncology patients while conducting the informed consent process
Assess patients for adverse events and/or changes in condition
Provide staff and patient education regarding the management and administration of investigational product
Ensure accurate and timely documentation and data entry to meet trial requirements
Serve as a liaison between clinic departments to ensure proper trial conduct

Registered Nurse licensureOncology experienceACLS certificationBSN degreeOCN certificationCCRC certificationPatient educationTeamworkCommunication skills

Required

Graduate from an accredited program for nursing education required (BSN preferred)
Current licensure as a registered nurse in state of practice
Current BLCS or ACLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required, preferably in oncology
Minimum seven years of nursing experience required, preferably in oncology

Preferred

OCN certification strongly preferred
CCRC or CCRP certification preferred
Oncology or Research experience preferred
