Responsibilities
Oversee and support Gate Guards across assigned beach locations to ensure smooth, efficient gate operations
Assist with staff scheduling, daily check-ins, and shift coverage as needed
Ensure staff properly verify beach stickers, sell daily passes, and handle transactions in accordance with Town policy
Monitor entry procedures and ensure accurate record-keeping for daily parking and attendance
Respond to patron questions and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
Ensure compliance with all Town of Fairfield beach, parking, and facility regulations
Coordinate with Beach Captains, Recreation Supervisors, and the Aquatic/Waterfront management team on operational needs or incidents
Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance feedback
Maintain accurate records of supplies, daily ticket reconciliation (tickets sold and total revenue), and submit required operational and financial reports to office management
Support emergency and safety procedures as directed
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to remain calm and courteous in high-volume or challenging situations
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as scheduled
Preferred
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
