Quality LAB CMM Supervisor
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Quality Lab Supervisor responsible for leading all quality inspection and advanced measurement activities within a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role involves overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of metrology and lab inspectors; communicate expectations and ensure consistent performance to rigorous quality standards
Direct daily inspection activities including First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process checks, non-destructive testing, and statistical studies
Prioritize lab workload to support departmental throughput objectives and maintain a target of 90% on-time delivery across the facility
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety by ensuring the timely completion of all corrective actions
Collaborate with Engineering and Production departments to strengthen communication and prevent product failures at the source
Lead improvement initiatives targeting a product performance level and maintaining customer return rates below 2.5% of monthly volume
Perform hands-on setup, programming, troubleshooting, and operation of automated CMM equipment and precision measuring tools
Review, validate, and optimize measurement programs to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and reduced cycle times
Lead non-conformance investigations, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) activities
Oversee document control for all inspection records, including attribute reports and in-process documentation
Review and approve technical reports, capability studies, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) data
Ensure total compliance with international quality standards (such as ISO 9001/AS9100) and internal operating procedures
Manage calibration scheduling, equipment readiness, and overall lab organization (5S)
Drive improvements in metrology techniques and programming efficiency
Participate in Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and provide technical input on the selection of new metrology hardware and software
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or technical certification in Metrology, Engineering, or Quality Management
Minimum 8 years of experience in precision inspection and automated measurement programming
Minimum 4 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a technical manufacturing environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software
Expert-level skill set in CMM programming languages and 3D modeling software
Mastery of engineering drawings and GD&T principles
Comprehensive understanding of quality management systems and industry-standard documentation
Proven experience with quality tools such as FMEA, control plans, and capability studies
