New Grad, Entry LevelSportsman Boats is looking for a Cost Accountant to join the Accounting team. This role will involve managing accounts payable, credit card reconciliation, and inventory management, providing a comprehensive experience in the procure-to-pay process within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices through optical character recognition
Work to move invoices through the approval workflow
Ensure timely and accurate payments while maximizing cash discounts
Review vendor account statements to address payment issues
Assist in responding to audit requests
Review and reconcile monthly credit card statements to the general ledger
Maintain supporting documentation for all transactions
Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to resolve receiving issues
Assist in periodic cycle counts, and year end physical inventory
Calculate inventory reserve and analyze for opportunities to reduce slow moving or excess inventory
Research issues related to bill of materials inaccuracies and provide suggestions to Engineering
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must to succeed in this role
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
