This role involves leading the accounting function, supporting the month-end close, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the month-end close process
Identify and implement process and timeline improvements
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations
Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Manage and monitor cash flow and cash activity
Oversee accounts payable and work within tight cash environments
Support AR review and collection efforts
Lead and mentor accounting staff while remaining hands-on
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Qualification
Required
10+ years of accounting experience
5+ years managing month-end close and accounting teams
Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge
Strong ERP systems experience
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments
Prior experience in private-equity-backed companies
Cash management experience strongly preferred
