DreamWorks Animation, a part of NBCUniversal, is a leading media and entertainment company known for creating world-class content. They are seeking a Production Assistant Intern for the Summer 2026 program to assist in the production of daily content and programs, as well as various production and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

Screening/logging of games, press conferences, interviews, and taped programs to prepare for editing

Researching for graphic boards, creating on-air graphics, and assisting the ticker operators

Assisting Associate Producers in the edit rooms

Working on the production of all pregame/postgame programming

Preparing, copying, and distributing programming information and scripts

Executing detail work to procure footage from external sources

May be assigned additional tasks needed to support the network's day-to-day operations

Required

Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2026 internship program

Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)

Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States

Must be available to work 16 to 24 hours per week from June 1 – August 7, 2026

Must be willing to work in San Francisco, California

Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from our San Francisco office
