Responsibilities

Lead technical development of electrical design engineers across more than a dozen offices, reducing major quality and delivery issues

Review and stamp plans for electric distribution, natural gas projects, compressor stations, and substation projects

Conduct continual improvement initiatives in response to client feedback and internal opportunities, strengthening client relationships

Create and administer change‑management systems for organizational, equipment, and process changes

Oversee and review designs for compliance with client and industry standards (NESC, NEC, IEEE/IEC)

Serve as a key technical resource and decision-maker on engineering problems, methods, and standards

This role typically reviews Gas Complex Projects from an Electrical perspective

Attends client meetings as a Subject Matter Expert as needed, and is focused on the projects, not managing people

Qualification

Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseUtility/Energy ExperienceMentoring EngineersQA/QC Best Practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

8–12+ years of relevant utility/energy experience

Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain within 6–12 months)

Proven record of leading multi‑office technical teams and delivering complex projects

Experience mentoring engineers/designers and implementing QA/QC best practices
