Responsibilities

Design and develop end-to-end Power BI reports, from data ingestion and transformation to final visualization

Build and monitor ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse Analytics

Create and maintain efficient tabular/semantic models that support self-service BI across the enterprise

Troubleshoot and optimize existing reports and queries to ensure high performance and data accuracy

Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights

Qualification

Required

5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI, including data modeling, transformations (Power Query), and measures

3+ years of experience working with Azure Cloud services (ADF, Synapse, or SQL Database)

Experience with Microsoft Fabric or a strong desire to transition BI workloads into a Fabric environment

Total of 7–10 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis roles

Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field

Primary Tools: Power BI (Desktop & Service), Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric

Data Warehousing: Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics and cloud storage concepts

Query Languages: Strong proficiency in SQL and DAX. Knowledge of Python or R is considered a strong asset

Design: Solid understanding of star schemas, data normalization, and semantic layer design
