Responsibilities
This can be a mostly remote role with periodic travel to Portland required
Draft and negotiate loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and other related documents
Conduct due diligence and provide legal advice on real estate financing transactions
Research and analyze legal issues related to real estate financing
Communicate and work directly with the existing book of clients as well as lenders, and other parties involved in transactions
Participate in business development activities and assist with marketing initiatives
Qualification
Required
Admitted to the bar in good standing in Oregon, Washington and/or Idaho
5+ years of experience in commercial real estate financing transactions, with a specific need for heavy loan documentation experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Quick partner track and ability for dedicated team members to directly inherit clients
Preferred
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
