DIR - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is a specialized treatment facility for substance abuse and mental health issues. The Director of Business Development is responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, and customer service activities, aiming to enhance the facility's brand and strategic marketing plan while engaging with various internal departments.

Responsibilities
Oversee the provision of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Marketing Department
Achieve the desired utilization of the organization’s continuum of care through the effective application of marketing principles and methods
Actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of facility issues including strategic planning, potential growth opportunities, future projects, changes in programming/protocols, recruitment and retention
Responsible for the facility’s strategic marketing plan, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, management of all sales and business development activities
Maintain an active and productive working relationship with internal departments and communicate issues or potential problems proactively, especially with CEO and Director of Admissions/Intake
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a marketing, business administration or related field required
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Must possess demonstrated superior leadership abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of and skills in application of marketing principles including product, placement, pricing and promotion as well as management of sales, advertising, social media, online presence and, public relations resources
Creativity and flexibility
Skills in data collection and analysis, interpretation, application and, evaluation
Strategic planning skills
Record of adherence to deadlines
Customer service skills
Teaching or training skills
Willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required
Preferred
Master's Degree preferred
Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred
Five years minimum experience in organizational communications, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and physician relationships preferred
Prefer knowledge of the South Florida behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and, age-specific programming
