Postdoctoral Research Associate - Cardiac/Vascular Cellular Electrophysiology
The USF College of Nursing is seeking a senior Postdoctoral Research Associate focused on cardiac and vascular cellular electrophysiology. This role involves participating in a research program that includes basic cardiovascular electrophysiology, ion channel trafficking, and data analysis.

Responsibilities
Applicants will participate in a research program focused on basic cardiovascular electrophysiology, ion channel trafficking, calcium dynamics, cardiac/vascular cell isolation/culture, fluorescent staining, data analysis, microvascular physiology and cardiovascular functional recording
Priority will be given to candidates with experience in cellular electrophysiology (single and whole-cell ion channel recording via patch-clamp technique) in endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells and cardiac myocytes

Qualification
Required
Candidates must possess a PhD and/or MD degree
Have relevant postdoctoral research training
Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow
Preferred
Experience in cellular electrophysiology (single and whole-cell ion channel recording via patch-clamp technique) in endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells and cardiac myocytes
