New England Legal Search is seeking an Intellectual Property Counsel for a leading Boston-area NASDAQ electronic components manufacturer. The role involves assisting the Head of IP with global patent and IP strategy, managing a large patent portfolio, and advising on strategic IP matters.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Head of IP with driving global patent and IP strategy, protection and enforcement matters
Oversight of a large patent portfolio (both preparing and managing the drafting of claims by outside counsel)
Drafting and negotiation of IP-related agreements (licenses, assignments, NDA’s)
Oversight of IP litigation matters
Management of copyright and trademark portfolios
Serving as an advisor on strategic IP matters, partnering with engineers and business leaders to identify and safeguard valuable IP assets

Required

4+ year patent attorney experience
