Leads workforce planning, talent development, organizational communication, and compliance management
Champions initiatives that enhance professional growth, communication effectiveness, and employee well-being
Ensures HR strategies align with Nebraska Public Media’s mission and values
Supervises HR staff and serves as a key advisor to senior leadership, including the General Manager & CEO

Qualification

Human Resource ManagementEmployment Laws KnowledgePublic Media ExperienceHR Leadership ExperienceSPHRPHR CertificationEthical StandardsInterpersonal SkillsCommunication Skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resource management or related field plus five (5) years of progressive human resources experience, including supervisory responsibilities
Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis
Knowledge of employment laws and human resources principles

Preferred

Master's degree in business administration, human resource management or related field
Experience in human resource leadership within a public-sector or public media organization
Public Media experience
SPHR or PHR certification
