Responsibilities

Join the Debt Finance Department at McGuireWoods

Represent issuers, underwriters, placement agents, initial purchasers and other credit parties in complex public and private placements of high-yield, mezzanine, investment-grade and other debt securities

Handle bridge financings and restructuring and refinancing transactions for high-yield securities, including exchange and tender offers and consent solicitations

Develop complex restructuring plans to revive troubled businesses and protect bondholder investments

Help to retire less favorable debt

Required

1-5 years of relevant experience in a sophisticated law firm setting

Senior secured, mezzanine, second lien and/or syndicated finance experience

Currently assume significant client responsibilities

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with client, business, and legal teams

Strong academic record, excellent writing, and oral communication skills

PA Bar is required
