Responsibilities

Create and facilitate small-group reading sessions for K-2 learners, ensuring phonics instruction is engaging, enjoyable, and tailored to individual needs

Modify teaching approaches on the spot in response to student needs, reading proficiency levels, and signs of engagement

Conduct motivational sessions with students to support their progress in adaptive literacy software and help them reach learning milestones

Track student achievement data from adaptive platforms and apply insights to customize instruction for each group

Employ storytelling, humor, game-based comparisons, and affirmative feedback to sustain student effort and address reluctance
