Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant regulatory requirements
Managing of cash reconciliations, liquidity, and cash flow forecasting across investments, trusts, entities, and personal accounts
Managing capital calls and distribution notices to investors, calculating carried interest, and allocating profits and losses in accordance with fund agreements
Calculating and analyzing fund performance, including portfolio returns and investment risk
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards, such as US GAAP. Maintain AML/KYC process with counterparties
Conduct thorough financial analysis and interpretation of reports to support fund performance evaluation and decision-making
Assist with regulatory reporting requirements related to securities law, governmental accounting standards, or nonprofit accounting regulations when applicable
Support audit processes by preparing documentation, journal entries, and audit schedules; participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
Proven experience in fund accounting within private equity or hedge funds
Demonstrated ability in financial report writing and interpretation to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately
