Responsibilities
Serve as a Senior lead for the functional and technical implementation of the Banner Finance Module
Identify and implement technological solutions with the goal of improving operational performance and efficiency
Facilitate implementation of technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners
Liaison between functional offices and technical personnel to elicit requirements, translate requirements to technical specifications, and ultimately ensure the outcome is valuable to the organization
Coordinate and collaborate with the other departments within the Finance Department to create a seamless Banner Finance experience
Creation of SQL reports to assist departments in becoming more efficient and effective with the Banner Finance Modules
Provide analysis and problem resolution for Finance Department staff regarding transactional processing and Banner system issues
Monitor and analyze software upgrades from Ellucian Banner and perform testing for system upgrades
Create and maintain procedural manuals for IT and Systems processes for the Finance Department
Qualification
Required
Master's degree and 2‐4 years experience; or Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related area and 3‐5 years experience in the information technology field related to the position's role
