Responsibilities
Developing academic structures that convert learning science principles into actionable guidance for curriculum development, motivational architecture, and application design
Overseeing academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to guarantee that school teams remain aligned, accountable, and results-focused
Integrating data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify high-impact obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend targeted solutions
Ensuring strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on learning objectives
Serving as the face of 2 Hour Learning in high-profile settings—from keynote presentations to engagements with national education authorities—championing systemic transformation in global education practice
Qualification
Required
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field
7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes
Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning
Track record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advising
Strong performance management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar
Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions
Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders
Preferred
Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high-performing EdTech venture
Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts
Deep familiarity with Bloom's 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks
