Responsibilities
Provide architectural oversight and strategic guidance for all Revenue business systems projects, ensuring solutions alignment with long-term business objectives
Design comprehensive solutions by translating complex business needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and clear acceptance criteria
Maintain a deep understanding of technical architecture across multiple domains and coding implications to effectively guide development teams and inform design decisions
Hands-on develop, test and deploy end-to-end solutions on the Salesforce platform, primarily leveraging Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
Implement and manage seamless integrations between internal business systems and external applications using REST APIs
Lead the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating discussions to gather, define, and refine project requirements
Lead requirement-gathering sessions and workshops to elicit detailed needs and propose viable, scalable solutions on the business system platforms
Uphold highest development standards by actively participating in peer code reviews and ensuring strict adherence to established best practices and deployment protocols
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and performance flaws to ensure high availability and efficiency of revenue systems
Qualification
Required
Expert knowledge of Salesforce systems architecture and design patterns
Deep knowledge and experience with Salesforce's suite of products across all SDLC phases
Good experience with 3rd party connected applications, system design and build
Strong proficiency with Force.com Platform skills like Apex, Flows, Lightning, UI (LWC/Visualforce), SOQL, Unit Testing etc
Thorough understanding of SaaS data models, design considerations and connected web services
Good understanding of Salesforce DX, source-driven development using Git/Github or similar version control system, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as part of DevOps process
8+ years of experience building custom solutions on Salesforce
5+ years of experience integrating business applications using platforms like Mulesoft, Snaplogic, Workato etc and APIs
3+ years of mentoring and training junior developers and administrators
BA/BS degree in Computer Science/Math or equivalent practical experience
Passionate about helping small business owners and converting pain points into solutions
Preferred
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II
Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
Salesforce Certified System Architect (or equivalent)
