The Facilities Maintenance Lead will be responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment at the Arlington facility, managing maintenance activities, vendor relationships, and supporting operational goals.

Responsibilities

Perform and manage maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipment systems

Serve as the primary point of contact for contracted maintenance efforts

Support local business units in execution of their operational goals

Coordinate with vendors/contractors to ensure timely, cost-effective service delivery

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS/Maximo)

Maintain effective relationships with landlords of leased spaces

Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives with measurable performance metrics

Prepare Statements of Work (SOW), negotiate with vendors, and coordinate RFP processes with procurement

Provide technical support to the construction team on internal projects

Participate on-call coverage to address critical facility issues

Identify cost improvement opportunities within contracted services

Uphold and advance best-in-class safety standards for the team and facilities

Manage an annual operating budget of approximately $1.5M for services, repairs, and upgrades

Required

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance within complex industrial environments

Demonstrated knowledge of building systems including: Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC and controls, Fire and life safety systems, Security infrastructure, Lighting control systems, Electrical distribution, Plumbing systems, Backup power generation, Compressed air/ High pressure gas systems

Proven leadership experience within a facility organization

Experience using CMMS systems, particularly Maximo

Strong vendor management capabilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
