Responsibilities
Build, test, and deploy data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using microservices-based architecture
Understand current data pipelines and architecture across multiple systems
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application developers to enable seamless data access and insight generation
Implement CI/CD pipelines — CI/CD, code reviews, unit testing, and documentation
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years in investment banking or financial services
Expert knowledge in Snowflake - Deep experience in Snowpipes, streaming data concepts. Should have worked on Snowflake for the past 5 years
Expert in enterprise class Python code
Decent hands on experience in Java
Working experience DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.) and Agile methodologies
At least recent 2 years of experience in cloud technology, preferably Azure
Preferred
Exposure to real-time data streaming (Kafka, Spark Streaming)
Knowledge of financial products, trade data, and regulatory reporting
