NEOGOV is seeking an Education Consultant at the Louisiana Department of Education, Division of Nutrition Support. This role involves overseeing the administration of federally funded Child Nutrition Programs and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, ultimately impacting children's nutrition across Louisiana.

Responsibilities

Oversee program sponsors, approve applications, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements

Lead training sessions, workshops and provide in-person technical assistance to program staff and sponsors

Address audit findings and resolve administrative issues

Conduct on-site program reviews, trainings, and follow-ups to ensure compliance

Develop policies, analyze program impacts, and recommend changes

Manage special projects and represent the Department at conferences and trainings

Required

Six years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services

Six years of full-time work experience plus three years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services

A bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services

An advanced degree plus two years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services

Background in Procurement and Resource Management

Background in child nutrition programs
