Technical Recruiter, IT/Digital

Responsibilities
Build strong partnerships with hiring leaders to understand business objectives, team structure, talent gaps, and role requirements
Consult on hiring strategy, market insights, talent availability, competitive landscape, and process recommendations to influence strong, equitable hiring decisions
Provide ongoing coaching to leaders on structured interviewing, inclusive hiring practices, and candidate experience
Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to attract top IT and Digital talent across Engineering, Product, Data, Cybersecurity, and Digital Experience
Use advanced sourcing techniques (Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ/SeekOut, talent communities) to identify passive and diverse talent pools
Build and maintain deep talent pipelines and networks for priority and evergreen roles, leveraging market research and talent intelligence
Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including intake, sourcing, screening, assessments, interview management, debrief facilitation, offer development, and closing
Drive a consistent, high-touch candidate experience from first interaction through offer acceptance
Manage all selection logistics including interview scheduling, communication flow, candidate preparation, and post-interview feedback loops
Evaluate candidate qualifications, technical capabilities, and cultural alignment using structured methodologies and competency-based evaluation
Ensure interview teams follow consistent, equitable, and inclusive assessment practices
Guide hiring teams through debriefs and decision-making using data, observations, and structured criteria
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and requisition data within the applicant tracking system
Use reporting and analytics to drive insights on funnel health, time-to-fill, conversion rates, and other key KPIs
Partner with TA Operations and HR Business Partners to continuously improve processes, tools, and TA best practices
Serve as an ambassador of Ulta Beauty’s employer brand, effectively sharing our culture, values, and career opportunities
Build and nurture long-term relationships with candidates, external talent communities, and internal partners
Represent Ulta Beauty at relevant industry events, networking forums, and sourcing channels
Qualification
Required
5+ years of full-cycle, corporate IT recruiting experience, with proven success hiring across IT and Digital functions (Engineering, Product, Data, Cybersecurity, etc.) required
Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and engaging passive talent using advanced search techniques (Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut/HireEZ, talent mapping)
Strong understanding of the latest technologies, digital trends, and talent market dynamics
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS preferred), recruitment workflows, and data accuracy best practices
