They are seeking a Research Mentor to guide high-achieving students through the development and completion of original research projects across various disciplines such as medicine and psychology.

Responsibilities

Mentor students through the full research process, from topic selection and study design to execution and final deliverables

Guide students in developing feasible, high-quality research questions aligned with their academic and career goals

Provide structured feedback on research plans, data interpretation, and written drafts in collaboration with Writing Advisors

Help students understand research standards, ethics, and discipline-specific expectations

Support students pursuing outcomes such as academic papers, posters, or journal submissions, depending on program scope

Track progress against defined milestones and timelines to ensure consistent forward momentum

Required

MD and/or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., medicine, biomedical sciences, psychology, public health, or related disciplines)

Demonstrated experience conducting academic, clinical, or applied research

Strong background in research design, data analysis, and writing

Experience mentoring students, trainees, or junior researchers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong planning, organization, and project management skills

A passion for mentorship and student development
