Responsibilities
Monitors the operational efforts in the analysis and design of existing and proposed applications
Maintains existing information systems through development of policies and procedures
Follows standards of systems analysis and definition or user requirements as designed
Assists team members and leaders in solving operational problems, design methods, and procedures to improve efficiency, productivity and control of these operations
Assists in various areas of IT with report writing requirements
Assists in the creation of application interfaces between hospital, clinical, and practice management systems through the use of the interface engines
Manages system enhancements and provides timetable for completion
Possesses the ability to take responsibility for projects from start to finish
Assists in the deployment of annual and long-range plans for systems needed and budgeting purposes for the department
Qualification
Required
Must have a deep understanding of the medical field and medical terminology knowledge
Ability to work the hours specified
Ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds

Preferred
Bachelor's in related area
Two years related experience and/or training
