In this role, you will oversee program management for homes supporting individuals with disabilities, ensuring their health, wellness, and independence are prioritized.

Responsibilities

Supervise, support, train, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals - teaching them to be the advocates they need to be to support each individual they work with
Manage the accounts payable, payroll records, petty cash/individual accounts, and budget monitoring
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counties, families, stakeholders, and community organizations/groups
Maintain documentation, perform record keeping, and participate in periodic meetings/trainings

Required

A bachelor's degree in a field related to Human Services and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
An associate's degree in a field related to Human Services and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
A diploma in a field related to Human Services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older
A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to Human Services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in clauses 1 to 3
Driver's license required
CPR certificate, First Aid (when required), and medication administration training is also required but can be obtained after hire
Training in supervisory skills, team building, and leadership
Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) clearance is required
Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record is required
When managing an ICF/MR program, a bachelor's degree (with QDDP designation) is required
To be eligible for a hiring bonus you must meet the following requirements: 40% FTE or greater, remain up to date on all trainings, maintain employment in good standing, work all scheduled shifts
