Millennium Space Systems, a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, is seeking a Propulsion Technician B to support the Manufacturing team in El Segundo, CA. This role involves assisting in the assembly and testing of spacecraft propulsion subsystems, requiring the ability to work first shift and operate various tools.

Responsibilities

Weld, assemble, install, test, route/terminate/stake/wrap thermistors, heaters, non‐flight thermocouples and heaters on spacecraft assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, integration, and test procedures

Checkout and inspect propulsion assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, and test procedures

Capable of operating a wide range of tools. Included but not limited to, orbital tube welding machines, tack welding machines, drill press, grinders, power, and hand tools

Interfaces and/or works closely with Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Procurement and Shipping personnel on procedural issues involving design, methods, tooling, cost, and other areas involved in the control of product quality

Travel maybe required to support operations identified by program being supported

Support in areas defined by Millennium Space Systems Leadership as business needs require
