The Senior Pricing Analyst will gather and analyze pricing data, provide accurate pricing information, and work closely with sales teams to identify margin opportunities and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Serves as a resource to assigned region in area of expertise

Gathers and compiles pricing data; conducts research for industry trends and benchmarks; and normalizes data to be incorporated into a centralized data format

Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determines trends, and shares with team

Is tasked with daily field requests, troubleshooting and interaction with sales team

Prepares spreadsheets for data analysis; prepare reports with charts and graphs. Shares relevant information with sales/pricing team

Provides recommendations based on findings and analysis. Provides input on policies and procedures

Works closely with field to find margin opportunities and revenue growth through pricing data and recommendations

Participates on department and interdepartmental projects. May serve as Team Lead

Required

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline

Generally, 2-4 years of experience in a related field

Certification is required in some areas

Very strong in excel, Power BI, Tableau or like reporting system

Preferred

In this role you will collaborate with field sales teams and corporate pricing strategists to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies that drive profitability and market share in a complex pricing environment

Must have experience coaching, influencing, and driving change as an essential partner in the feedback loop

Must have excellent listening and presentation skills using visualizations with supporting data

Must have experience applying critical thinking skills

Must be solution oriented

Pricing experience is preferred

Must have 4+ years in an analytical role tying multiple data sources together

Demonstrated strength in Excel and building ad hoc Power BI or Tableau reports
