Mid, Senior LevelAltair is seeking an Accounting Manager with a CPA to lead their Accounting team. The role involves overseeing journal entries, reviewing financial information, ensuring internal controls, and preparing budgets and forecasts.

Responsibilities
Preparation of journal entries
Compare monthly budgets and forecasts with actual results
Understanding of design and operation of internal controls
Review monthly financial information to ensure reasonability
Review and summarize capital requests, including assessing the overall business case of capital purchases
Analyze opportunities and build models to support business decisions
Plan, coordinate and execute various ad hoc queries and reports used by all management levels in development of key strategy and operational decision making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration
Experience with manufacturing entities
Must have a CPA certification
Highly competent in the use of the MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio)
Understanding of internal control concepts
Self-confidence, critical thinking, ability to influence, ability to work independently and willingness to work extended hours (if necessary)
High level of time management and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with data analysis tools is an asset
