Responsibilities

Lead the negotiation and redlining of complex SaaS agreements, including MSAs, Order Forms, NDAs, and Data Processing Addendums (DPAs)
Apply your paralegal expertise to identify and resolve common contractual hurdles (indemnity, liability, SLAs) within pre-approved guidelines
Develop and maintain a 'Negotiation Playbook' to standardize responses to common customer objections and legal requests
Mentor and train junior Deal Desk analysts and Account Executives on best practices for contract review and deal hygiene
Manage the end-to-end deal approval process, ensuring all stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Product) provide timely input

Required

5+ years in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Legal Operations, specifically within the B2B SaaS industry
Proven experience as a Paralegal or Contract Manager, with a deep understanding of commercial contract law and SaaS revenue recognition
Expert-level ability to redline contracts independently and explain legal risks in 'plain English' to non-legal stakeholders
Experience coaching or managing others; you should enjoy teaching others how to 'spot the traps' in a contract
High proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) software (e.g., Ironclad, Conga, or PandaDoc)
Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, quarter-end environment
