Responsibilities

This position includes traveling to vicinage locations multiple days a week throughout the state
Apply relevant child support policies, procedures, statutes, and court rules and provide on-site support and guidance to vicinage
Analyze vicinage performance by using NJKiDS computer system and related reports
Work with local child support staff by reviewing activities as they relate to performance measures and enforcement methods and provide feedback regarding areas of improvement, or where performance can be enhanced. Assist in the formulation and dissemination of training and resources that are needed
Possess the ability to work independently as well as be able to work as a member of the team unit
Function as a subject matter expert and provide support and assistance in the implementation of any new policy and procedures along with other duties as assigned
Provide technical assistance with the automated system, NJKiDS, as it relates to case processing and enforcement. Assist the local offices with audits and partnership meetings
Assist county staff with implementation of AOC, DFD, federal and state government initiatives and changes. This entails planning, training, implementation, clean-up efforts, and ongoing support necessary because of these initiatives
Provide feedback to AOC management, committees, and other user groups about issues identified, along with possible recommendations for resolution

Required

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience, one of which shall be in program development, program coordination, program analysis, program administration and/or administrative research
Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits
An associate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
A master's degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for one year of experience
A law degree from an approved American Bar Association law school may be substituted for two years of experience
Degrees conferred outside of the United States must be evaluated by a recognized evaluation service
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position
Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Newly hired employees must agree to a thorough background check that will include fingerprinting
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), the 'New Jersey First Act,' all persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey
