The Injection Molding Technician will ensure the proper operation of injection machines and coordinate production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure the correct change of molds to ensure the integrity of the mold and the proper operation of the injection machine
Coordinate and make the start of injection machines to comply with the production schedule
Ensure the proper identification of materials throughout the production process
Inspect the drying and material filling process to ensure the proper operation of the injection machine
Analyze the causes of mold damage to prevent recurrence using problem-solving methods
Feedback and training of production line personnel in recurrent faults
Ensure order and cleaning in mold storage areas
Participate in assigned training programs with the commitment to leverage knowledge to achieve departmental and organizational objectives

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience as a Mold Technician or experience in a similar job
Strong mathematical ability
Ability to lead others and work well with leadership
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to face challenges and ambiguity with a positive mindset
Drive to assess challenges, identify root causes, and take initiative in the search for and implementation of solutions
Ability to utilize critical thinking skills in a high-pressure environment
Proven ability to utilize excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge in industrial engineering and/or manufacturing processes
Experience utilizing Word, Excel, and Outlook in the workplace
Must be self-directed and self-motivated
Ability to successfully navigate ambiguity and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed due to both internal and external demands
Proven experience adding to a positive and effective team environment
Ability to manage time effectively
Proficient in English language, both written and verbal
