This role requires deep expertise in PL/SQL development and automation of Oracle jobs to support critical business processes.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
Automate and manage Oracle jobs, including scheduling, monitoring, and error handling
Create and maintain Oracle job chains to support end-to-end process automation
Optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance for large datasets and high-throughput systems
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to database jobs and batch processing
Partner with application teams, data teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and change management processes
Support deployments, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance in Oracle environments
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL development
Solid experience working within Oracle database environments
Proven experience automating jobs using Oracle scheduling tools
Experience creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Oracle job chains
Strong SQL skills with a focus on performance and scalability
Experience supporting batch processing and automated workflows
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in complex, high-volume data environments
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Preferred
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Exposure to cloud-based data or database migrations
Experience with CI/CD or automated deployment processes
Familiarity with data integration or ETL workflows
Strong documentation and communication skills
