Legal Administrative Assistant
LHH is partnering with a law firm to find a Legal Administrative Assistant for its Atlanta office. This role is ideal for candidates starting their legal career and involves managing legal documents, scheduling, and providing administrative support to attorneys.
Responsibilities
Create, revise, and maintain legal documents and correspondence
Screen and route incoming calls; serve as liaison between attorneys and internal/external contacts
Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate travel arrangements
Open, sort, and distribute mail; maintain filing systems and retrieve documents as needed
Enter attorney time into the firm's timekeeping system
Assist with client billing processes and prepare expense reports
Schedule and coordinate conference rooms and resources for meetings
Prepare and assemble error-free final documents for timely delivery
Conduct basic research and assist with special projects as assigned
Provide overflow administrative support to attorneys and paralegals
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with strong academic performance
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with iManage is a plus
Ability to type at least 70 WPM accurately
Strong grammar, proofreading skills, and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
Interest in pursuing a progressive career in the legal field

Previous legal experience or internship in a law firm
