TravelNet Solutions is a fast-growing company that provides integrated software and marketing solutions for the hospitality industry. They are seeking a passionate Developer Advocate to bridge the gap between engineering teams and the developer community, focusing on API adoption, technical support, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for developers, customers, vendors, and partners using TNS APIs and integrations
Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for implementation and integration issues
Guide developers and partners on API usage, integration patterns, and implementation best practices
Own, Maintain, and continuously improve API documentation, developer guides, and technical tutorials
Create and maintain and share high-quality code samples, reference implementations, and example projects on readme.io
Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to ensure documentation remains current with product releases
Represent TNS at user conferences, partner events, webinars, and industry meetups
Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and workshops for developers and partner audiences
Build and maintain strong relationships within the developer ecosystem through in-person and virtual engagement
Partner closely with the Partnerships and Business Development teams to support and certify new vendor integrations
Validate technical compatibility, integration quality, and adherence to platform standards
Provide feedback to internal teams to improve APIs, tooling, and overall developer experience based on partner needs

Required

3-4 years experience as a Developer Evangelist, Developer Advocate, Solutions Engineer, or similar role working with partners, vendors, or third-party integrations
3-4 years of experience with REST APIs, SDKs, system integrations, authentication methods (OAuth, API keys), and web services
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, PHP, Python, Java, or similar)
Experience writing technical documentation and developer-facing content
Public speaking experience or comfort presenting to technical audiences
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
Willingness and ability to travel to conferences and partner locations
