Responsibilities
Teaches class covering all points on established outline, allowing sufficient time for class participation
Plans and prepares class materials according to established routine
Registers clients and document incentives according to guidelines
Performs evaluation responsibilities and participates in quality improvement process
Obtains needed supplies and equipment for class
Cleans teaching area and return supplies and equipment to proper storage area after class
Communicates as necessary to coordinator or appropriate CHP staff and attends instructor meetings as scheduled by coordinator
Qualification
Required
BSN required
At least six months experience in Maternal-Child Health or Certificate in Early Childhood curriculum and Development
One year experience working with children under the age of two
Demonstrates effective communication skills
Current licensure as a RN
Preferred
Certificate in Early Childhood curriculum and Development preferred
